Nulon Ultra Cool or Nulon Long Life?

Hey guys.

Got some of the radiator coolant, I've seen it used before but I can't remember if it was Long life (Anti-Freeze/Anti-Boil) or Ultra Cool (NON - Anti-Freeze/Anti-Boil), I got some Ultra cool the other day, I must say, the green is WICKED!!!

I'm just not sure which one to use?

Ultra Cool - http://www.nulon.com.au/products/Ultra_Cool/
Long Life - http://www.nulon.com.au/products/Lon...rated_Coolant/

The awesomeness.

I use ultra cool in my loop. I came to using it after reading countless threads where it kept on coming up. It's not an anti-freeze, but a radiator treatment to stop corrosion if my memory serves me. I've used it for > 12 months and have not had any sort of gunk build up in the block at all. I mixed it as per the bottle instructions which I think was a 5% mix.

The long life product is an anti - freeze/boil which is not needed in a regular WC loop imo.

If you like the colour, you'd probably also be pleased to know that the nulon ultra cool is also UV reactive.

Thanks mate, yeah, I saw it was UV reactive when I tested it, looks like an awesome coolant! Cheers.

haha, looks like lime cordial.

Probably won't have many on this forum knowing of mixing Nulon with distilled in their loops as it is an Australian product, not too many Aussie's on here afaik, you'd get more of a response over at the OCAU.

Edit: Wasn't aware you had started building a second system, I will have to check out the build log, I rated your last system highly.
