Is it ok to mount a block withouth the backplate ?

Noob question going on

Yes, i lost my EK 1366 backplate

And im about to mount everything and begin leak testing, and i can't find a backplate where i live (Brazil), i can, but they cost like $50

So... will i have any problems mounting the Supreme LT without a backplate ?

I would think it would be fine. Just make sure not to over tighten the mount so it wont warp the motherboard

You will be fine, Just watch the MB while you tighten the retaining nuts. As if you applying to much pressure you will see it stat to wrap. Just go slow and steady and you will be fine.

With the Intel backplate that is there you should be fine, but still watch for warping as everyone has already stated.
