Deltas or Panaflos?

I am looking to buy some high pressure, high cfm fans for my TRUE Black and soon to be Mega Shadow. I like the panaflos but can 3 pin fans effectivly be controlled in the bios? I want fans to be under 34db. Now the deltas I am looking at are LOUD as in around 50db 140cfm. But they have 4 pin so I can daisy chain two and put on my mb. So which option would be better? What really does the extra pin do on the deltas? sorry I know its a dumb question but not sure. I will NOT be using a fan controller as I don't have a free slot

the 4th pin is for pwm.

the delta fan you are looking at is very noisy...it needs a lot of speed to get 110+cfm

the panaflow does it with more efficiency..2750rpm for 110+cfm..is very good...i tried these fans..they're really good...noisy for me though

these are 6w or more fans...i wouldn't want to connect them to motherboards...some asus motherboards supports 18ws on their fan headers...i'm not sure about some other motherboards

If you are planning on using a delta fan, make sure it's 38mm as well.

I have this on my TRUE, I got mine from a Mac G4 PSU, same fan, not real bad for noise, a 90mm Tornado is much louder.
