anybody mount the EK block for the 5870 yet
If anybody has mounted the EK block on there 5870 may we have some pictures and your thoughts. Maybe some temps idle and load.

Little off topic - But in those pictures from that linked post his 3dmark Vantage score is the same as my xfire 4890s @ 950core =[ I'm missing out.

ide temps gone from 33 to 263 (indcated by Afterburner& GPU-Z) @925 1250 flashed with asus bios
will test further later

spacers are a bit of a pain but work first time

Yeah, once I got to that part I was thinking why couldn't EK have just etched them into the block? It'll be easier than having us adhere them to the block.

By the way Eddy, what ever happened to this promise?
"I promise you we will start seriously to find solution to this, to provide you the standoffs for et least next coming water blocks if not for the present ones.
Options are:
- plastic standoffs that are additionally glued to the copper
- metal standoffs that are additionally glued to the copper
- full copper one-piece standoffs like XSPC and some others have it"
