*NEW* Koolance D5 Pump Top/Mounting kit

as the title states

http://www.koolance.com/water-coolin...product_id=934

From the product site:
Quote:
COV-RP450 is an acetal nozzle and reservoir base for the Koolance PMP-450 and PMP-450S pumps (sold separately). Along with enabling the use of any G 1/4 BSP threaded nozzle style and diameter, it allows flow to be specifically directed for increased pump performance or broader chassis integration. Support for future Koolance reservoirs will allow direct attachment to the COV-RP450.

A solid aluminum cover sleeve for the pump, 120mm fan grill mounting bracket, nozzle socket plug, and bracket hardware are included.
Looks like they will be making a reservoir that will thread right onto the pump top! I am excited!

Someone please pick this up (Cough Cough SKINEE!) and get some numbers!

Or maybe it's their NooB friendly Reminder that "This end goes to your Resivoir." lol (just teasing)

There looks to be threading inside that Intake!

First think I'd do is paint the back of the D5 with a chrome paint - geeze that stands out stock. Interested to see what kind of reservoir they make or alter to "lock" on to this thing.

I like the black contrast. However what really stands out for me are the stickers on the back.

Looks pretty awesome IMO, I wasn't that pleased when I changed my older Koolance D5 top for an EK Rev.2 ....it's just too big & bulky to fit.
This will suite me well indeed Im really starting to like Koolances approach.

I like the looks of that.

I'm guessing it's pretty expensive, though?

Nice... I might have to pick this up. Waiting on some data though. It looks nice... if it performs better than the other D5 tops I'll have to get it.

Thanks for the link. Missed that before.
45 dollars, huh? That is quite steep. But if the performance is good, the mounting options might make it worth it.

Considering it seems to include top, cover for pump, and bracket, it doesn't seem too bad of a price to me.

EK and BP are both in that $40 ballpark too.

I just hope it performs in the same ballpark as the other tops seeing the other top offered great mounting options, but decreased performance below that of the stock top.

i thought it would cost more than 45...
if performance is increased, then that is a good price.

Yep, thats true.

If it perform like ek rev2 or close, for 45 with all the stuff, then yes its a good price . . . not to say thats the right one.

So, in short, its a good convination between price / benefit for the user

Hope to see more of these good convinations out there
