cheap, relatively good and quiet fans

alright, i have to buy at least 12 fans and was wondering what fans you thought would be good to buy that are really dirt cheap, relatively quiet, and had good CFM. I was initially looking at these Coolermaster Fans but wanted to make sure that they were a good deal and were relatively good. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

cheap, relatively good and quiet fans <--- oximoron

might help us to determine the intended use, e.g. cpu fan, case fan, radiator fan, etc.

lol yeah i understand that... i plan to use them initially for just airflow (case fans) and then as radiator fans, so i assume good CFM... noise isn't tooo much of a worry, but when you make it x12, it can be... i guess by relatively good i mean i dont want something that will break on me in a year or two or make like 40 dB of noise...

Your claim has been disproved by yates . It's as good as fan goes.

salvaged sanace are the only thing better IMO (i dont like the $25 a fan for new ones but unused dell replacement fans are the jams @ $2-7)

I love the enermax fans with the twister bearing. I have 5 "magma" fans and they rock. 70cfm and 15db 1560rpm whisper quiet. They are my alltime favorite now. Some people say there loud only because their idiots and try to use them as a intake fan. Whenever you have a intake fan its very loud if you dont lower the rpms always.

the enermax fans would cost more than my case itself if i were to buy 12 of them so they are a bit out of budget...

can't imagine why you would put red LEDs on a full black fan that is opaque in everyway. For a few bucks more per fan to get the yates with red leds. I would go for the ready made.

Well I saw it somewhere and thought it really looked cool. My reasoning behind it is that since I'm going to have 12 fans, I don't want too much klightong from each fan. In addition, the premade ones have the LEDs on the same lead as the fan and I would like the option to turn of te led's completely....

*edit: I saw it on the antec 1200 case. All the fans are black with blue LEDs and IMO it looks awesome...

Coolermaster 4 pack 120mm fans are great for the $$$ if you don't plan to run in high CFM.
