iandh heatsink question

do you need to use thermal pads? or can you use tim?

if thermal pads: should i try to re-use my old thermal pads that are falling apart? or order new ones?

You can use regular TIM (Ceramique, MX2, whatever) or you can use pads... it's up to you (both work).

thermal pads would be better IMO. They make up for the unevenness of the ram.

Don't reuse your old pads. New ones are not that pricey.

I use some ceramic TIM on mine for my 4870. Never had a problem.
