GJ! How did you attach the memory heatsinks? Are they removable? Or secure?

Nice dnottis. If you go for some mega ocing, looks like you'll reach a heat limit on your vrms before you get too hot on the core. That's a cool core!

also, your idle screenshot is 2d 1.063 / 1.125v, i thought idle was 157/300 0.950v?

For some reason with CCC and GPU-Z running it kicks up to the 3d settings. Thats why you are seeing those speeds and volts.

You can see the VRM temps in the Furmark screenshot in the first post. I have some airflow over them, warm at best.

I updated the idle temps. With CCC open it jumps to 900/1200. Without it open we see correct idle temps / speeds.

Absolutely simple install. Stock mounting bracket with stock hardware. 4 screws with springs and a backplate.

Yes, thermal tape on the ram sinks and mosfet sinks. Sorry I thought I mentioned that already, I guess not...

Those 4 little solid copper sinks that are on the volteras... Is that where the vdcc 1-4 temp sensor reports from? And if so, do they make water blocks that cover those up to get you to the same temperatures as the cool watercooled core?

As a follow up I flashed it with the Asus bios, running 1Ghz core now @ 1.162v. Very happy with this.

very nice work there !

I am looking to do the same with my current Dtek blocks which are on 4870s and was wondering if they will work ok with the 5870 cards.

I wonder if the heatsinks are necessary at all if you have fans blowing across (my current setup on my 4870s has no sinks at all with same YL fans breezing across and never had a single issue in last 12 months)

Cutting up something like an old Skt370 or NB heatsink is another way
