Adding another stage to a S.S.

Hi there,

I recently took delivery of one of Kayl's 2hp S.S. system. I am very happy with it - a little bit noisy but I am now curious on how to make it run colder....

Pics of the unit here,

I am managing to get around the -46 c on load for the CPU - the unit is a dual head item so I am also able to cool a GPU.

I had been looking up some details of the compressor and found it here,

http://www.lanhaicomp.com/EN/QXR.html

It is the QXR-33E model - seems to be around the $350 mark from what I have seen...

Would I be able to add another in a parallel set up? I am still doing a bit of research on it all but I was hoping to get it to around the -100c

Any advice would be great.

I know your not a builder and have no way of knowing this so heres the scoop:

The temps you are showing are phenomenal for a two headed single stage unit and your not going to make it run colder without sacrificing load. If you want colder your going to need to consider some variety of cascade.

On a side note Kayl has some really nice cases and I would consider enclosing that some or at least enclosing the run cap so you dont shock yourself.
