New guy on the block, introduction.

Hello to everyone here at XS, Why I'm posting at the water cooling section, is because I feel like this is my home. Yes, Water cooling. And I didn't find anywhere else to post, lol:p

I've been hanging around at Overclock.net for a while, great forum indeed. But XS seems pretty hardcore and got pretty much everything about overclocking etc.

Anyway, my name is Kristoffer and I'm from Norway, 19 years old and I'm up to overclocking. At the moment I'm looking after a good 775 setup and a good CPU pot for DICE and LN2 OC's, I've never tried it before so it will be a new experience.
Hum, I've only been into computers for like 8months now and I'm really enjoying it 2nd best hobby after my Irish Setter and Hunting.


I guess I could post a picture of my current rig Since its a water cooling thread, it probably need to contain some water cooling,:p

Welcome! I'm intensely glad you've posted pics of your rig, as I have a Black Pearl I ordered today, and will be water cooling my EVGA X58 Classified and i7 920. This gives me great ideas for placements and a good feel for how everything will fit. Thanks!

I'll try to keep away, but I know my self too well, if I see something I want, I'll get it. I end up broke all the time, but I could sell some of my stuff now..I got alot of parts that I don't use, but I enjoy looking at them lol:p

Welcome to the forum!!! Awesome build, I'm working on a Black Pearl case right now. So quick question any problem withe he PSU mounted that way? Because doesn't the fan face the midplate?

Hmm, what should I say. There is a little gap between the middle plate and the PSU, just like if you got two cards in CF close to each other. My psu didn't get any warmer I think but I'm looking at it pretty often.

My plan was to make a new psu bracket, but I haven't got the time yet.

Does your ATI cards need both crossfire connectors? Heard that could cause errors with some cards. Nice build BTW!

No worries mate!I can't say my hx1000 ain't any hotter than before. But I guess time will show.

I don't think so, I only putted them there for looks, I'll remove one of em.
