XSPC single DDC Bayres Q's

Can anyone comment on the noise emitted from these? I'm looking to buy one of these to tidy up my loop instead of having a separate pump top and res.

I've got one, doesn't seem to add any noise to my system, running Yate-Loon Highs at 5-7v.

The DDC doesn't produce any vibration and the water path is smooth enough so there's no turbulence noise

I wonder if they perform worse seeing as there is a 90 right before pump inlet. I wish the dual DDC one shared water because then I'd get one (shared water means the shared efficiency of all the radiators).

Well if you can find the original (shouldn't be hard), then it is shared. The one I have (original) supports dual-DDCs and has no divider between.

It also doesn't produce any noise that I can tell, though my MCP-355 is on the noisy side regardless. With all my fans going, I don't notice though.

Ah I see so it is a matter of finding old stock. In a 5.25 bay I think it would be very easy to have, hanging off the "back" a second DDC per pump. That would be 2 loops of dual pumps

I ordered the original shared res but received the split res version. I just plumbed the loop from one res into the return for the other res and vice versa. It works fine and the water is shared. It was a little crazy filling it at first until the levels stabilized. It's not terribly noisy but it's not silent. Just a faint wooshy sound.

Even the split res would be convenient for dual pumps as you could simply have the outlet of left pump into inlet of right. Of course, as you mentioned, the filling would be difficult.
