Watercooling is the :banana::banana::banana::banana:!
So this is the stuff I got
6 x *** NEW *** Bitspower Premium G1/4" High Flow 1/2" Fitting - Black Matte Finish $17.94
10 x Reuseable Clamps - For 1/2" Tubing (3/4" O.D.) - Black $9.90
10 x Tygon 3603 1/2" ID (3/4" OD) Clear Tubing $34.90
1 x *** NEW *** Watercool MO-RA 2 Extreme Performance 9 X 120mm Radiator Core
- Fitting Size: 1/2" OD $124.95
for the above $201 shipped
Enzotech Sapphire $43 shipped
XSPC dual bay res/pump $47 shipped
Set everything up outside the case to test the pump ran it for 30 minutes then went to set up in the case when I took everything apart I saw this inside the block, some black metal pieces prolly from the rad
anyway I cleaned it out and hooked everything up quick
XSPC res/pump is doing a great job even though the MO-RA is restrictive.....Im getting idle temps of 29-31c and load temps of 48c at 1.55v during prime. A quick test of cinebench had it loading at 41c.........with air I was in hitting like 52c and prime was out of the question.

so nothing exciting for you pros but exciting for me Im liking my temps its really unbelievable 4ghz prime stable 1.55v load at 47c. On air Id be hitting 60+c at 1.55v and getting a bsod.

The black stuff was metal, I guess from the rad it stuck to my magnetised screwdriver.
Im idling at 28c now and my room temp is 24c 1.5v.
Gonna play some games and see how it does temp wise.
You did flush that rad right? I'm worried there might be some more. It would suck if it got stuck in your pump.
Glad to hear you like it. It wasn't that the pump wouldn't work, just might not be optimal. I would still switch it out if you want to add some GPUs to that loop, but till then enjoy.

BTW, where did you mount that Mo-Ra?
No I didnt flush it..........I just ran it for 30 minutes while testing the loop outside the case
I did lay it fla and flip it while it was running while trying to get the air bubbles out when testing and trying bleeding the system for the first time.
so maybe that was it?
As for the MO-RA Im not mounting it.......I got lots of tests I got to run before I finalize where or how its going to go.

In your pics it seems that ur running the MoRa passive, if so ur temps are pretty awesome. Now strap 9 yates to it or 4 x 140mm scythes or something
and u'll see a nice improvement

Now I want a MoRa2 too......
right now Im running ghetto style.........Im using my dual window fan to blow air at it.
Its right beside my desk
crap photobucket is running maintenance now
The 360mm fan I had here left way to much area open on the rad so I scrapped that idea.
and if Im crazy I might do 8 in push pull........I have an idea for a slide on bracket I can make for the Mo-Ra for 8 fans in push pull........but thats $160 plus for 8 fans

How is that pump doing? The Mora is known to be abit restrictive and its not the most powerful pump, but if it can take that setup then its awesome enough for me^^

But do you have anyway to meassure your flow?
The pump seems to be doing fine.........I dont think Id get these excellent temps if the pump wasnt able to handle the restrictive Mo-Ra.........but its possible that a stronger pump will produce better temps.
But for right now I idle at 28c at 1.58v.......its sick! yesterday I was playing the new NFS at 4.1ghz and the temps didnt break 37c.

Wow 4c between room temp. and CPU !, darn near too good to be true. Is that the core temps. your giving us, the lowest of core temps, CPU or? What program are you measuring with?

thats at 1.5v the spread increases as I raise the voltage I will show my stock voltage temps in a bit
Im using cpuid HWmonitor, coretemp and AMDOD........Ive been trying out win7 and AMDOD doesnt run on it?\
anyway...heres a pic of my room temp and cpu temp at stock voltage

Wouldn't be better just buy 3MCP320 ? :p (and cheaper lol)
how is 3x$50 MCP320 rads cheaper than $125 I paid for the Mo-Ra? then I got to worry about 6 rad connections instead of 2....nah much better like this.
Isnt it the MCR320...?

haha yea man.....the fans I want are $22 each and Im gonna need at least 4
You know that desperate feeling to try something no matter what you have to do to accomplish it......thats the way I felt about this watercooling setup

IIRC, if you want to use fans you need to buy the exhaust screen which is more $49.95 (totalizing $174.90), you can get 3 MCR320 for $149.85 and they should be less restrictive, already ready to get fans, accept push n' pull, etc.
But I'm not sure if they would have better performance with the same number of fans and connecting the rads would be a bit tricky .

If your going to back a rad cluster like the Mo-Ra, you would probably needsome BP fittings and d-plugs to interconnect it. You could do it with tubing, but think the hard line would look nicer. This will probably get you close to the $175. Then you would also need a bracket to connect the 3 rads together. (Once again comparing it to the Mo-Ra and his build).
I think the price tag is a bit closer than you think. NTM, you probably could make a bracket for the fans that will cost less than the $50.

BTW, your temps are wonderful .
I didnt get the screen because I really dont want 9 120mm fans.....18 in push pull
Thanks Im loving the temps also!

The plan is to make a custom bracket to mount 4x180mm fans.....Ill post pics once I get started on it.
Im wondering how my temps compare to others running just a cpu loop.....but thats prolly rare except for other beginers

Well, it is hard to compare seeing you do have different varibles at play. Just be confident that they are great temps. If you do plan on adding GPUs, you probably should keep a pump upgrade in the back of your mind. You could always add it and see how the temps are. You should have enough rad space for a couple of GPUs. You might be testing the pump there though.
