Koolance TIM pads on EK block

Ok, perhaps this is just me being paranoid but will these Koolance pads:

http://www.performance-pcs.com/catal...ducts_id=25822

work on my EK 4890 full cover blocks? I'm assuming they should as it's just thermal interface material. But I also have a couple questions about this TIM if it works.

1. Which is thicker (the gray or the pink)?

2. They do have adhesive sides correct? And that should go on the graphics card side?

Thanks guys!!

The pink is thicker... its late and i forget what their dimensions are I think the pink is 1.5mm and the grey is .5mm... but it might be 1mm.

Neither has a "adhesive" side... the grey is just kinda sticky all over, and only the white side is sticky on the pink one. (the pink stays on btw)

i had a question about thermal pads a while back too. Dean, do you have the technical specs on them? like thermal conductivity? i have a full cover block that copper does not touch the GPU, and i was wondering if i could use a small piece of thermal pad to put in the middle (so pretty much same question as Stvwndr219). i think several people said that it does not conduct heat nearly as fast enough to be put between the GPU and the block. is this right or wrong?

just make sure you have correct thickness.
you can add a small drop of thermal paste to make pads (more) adhesive.

Does anyone have any extra I could take off their hands - PPCs wants 6.95 for something they could ship by envelope...
