The nickel plated HK blocks just looked a little less shiny

Well seeing the copper top edition on PPC is $100 and that converts to about $90. It isn't bad. Shipping costs properly wouldn't be pretty though. It'll probably come to cost about the same as the nickel plated HK block.

I've been wondering the same thing...I think I want to test a copper top version for my tests....and I'd spring for the extra $50 if I could get it with a specific number on it
ok so it just seems EK is simply revising the supreme while everyone else is releasing newer better blocks. is it that they cannot make a better performing block? or are they just out of ides?? i personally love my supreme but am waiting for a newer better block cant see much point in getting a diff color top does it add performance? or just look cooler?

There was thread on this copper top version already and PPC's claims were already called out. IIRC, no one stated for certain that it was a different block, just a different top.
It seems it is the same as the difference between a HK 3.0 CU and a HK 3.0 LT
