Check to make sure the fan is running and then remount the cooler. They are usually mid to high 70's on the crappy stock cooler at full load.

i remount the heatsink and clean all the dust
the fan work just fine.
and now it's worst
inside the bios the cpu temp is 92
and i can't even go inside the windows , the computer shut down!!
maybe the original paste of the heatsink are dead or not working anymore?
how come my cpu is not dead if it's working so hot for the all last 2 month?

Your cooler is not seated right if your getting those temps.
Try reseating the cooler and make sure your locking pins are locked.

You've been using the same thermal paste for each remount? If so that explains your problem, you'll need new paste.

Do you overclock the CPU? If at stock speed then it's ridiculously high, just go to your local MicroCenter and grab an after-market cooler: problem solved. As for thermal paste I would go with MX-2 but if they don't have it then AS5 will do the job just fine.

Better than Artic Silver 5. I highly recommend it.

If a different TIM doesn't work out then I guess the core has extremely bad contact with the heat spreader and it's RMA time...

I have one of the same batch but mine runs cool with water, never tried air, and it will also do 4500mhz linx stable with 1.375 volts.

can you upload some pics of your rig?
or to list your watercooling system?

Man what are you talking about really...............
If they have this thermal compound in get it.
http://www.frozencpu.com/products/70...ams.html#blank
Also you can cut off HT and it will lower it 10 - 20 degrees most of the time.

First off, it's
IDLE , not ideal.
Second, that's still kinda hot. I can't believe that turbo was causing that much of a problem.
Just for comparison, I just ran my i7 975 @ stock with the stock intel cooler on it.
Prime95 stress for 15 minutes - no higher than 67C. That's full load with 8 threads and the cooler set on low

If my Core i7 ran at 100c at load with turbo on (assuming no other issues) I'd RMA that thing in a hurry. No way it should run anywhere near that hot on a stock cooler.

pelo911 , the chip is obviously a lemon. That you think "disabling turbo" makes it all hunky dory is mind boggling. If you continue to use that chip you are asking for failure.
RMA it.
