Gentle Typhoon 1850s are my choice. They are OOS most everywhere, but sounds like they will get back in stock here in a month or 2.

Depending on the fan, most higher-speed fans will run on 5V - are the fans running off of a 4-pin molex? If so, you could switch the 12V wire on the fan plug to the 5V position, and see how the system runs that way. It'll definitely be quieter, and the temps may be better than you think.

Yep, they should. Are the 14s or 15s? Last i check the 15s, 1850 RPMs are out of stock. Someon asked around and found out they should get brought back to stock in a month or so. I prefer the 1850s. Not loud at all and you can put on fan control if you want it keep it really quiet during non-gaming events.

If you can't source the 1850's (57CFM), the 1450's are almost equal airflow (50CFM) but notably quieter.
IMO the performance difference wouldn't be too notable

The 1850s are not that much louder and a fan controller can tame them if they are too loud for you. iandh is right though, there isn't a huge difference between the 2 and if you don't want to wait the for a month or so to get the 1850s, then just get the 1450s.

I have the 1850s on the same rad. I put the fans on a fan controller and its fairly quiet. At least quieter than my san aces, but in a different way. If I turn the fans up to max, I can hear them, but I'm anal about noise. A fan controller is a good idea IMO.
IDK how noctuas compare to the 1850s though. That might be something to look into.

Are you really sure you need a new rad? I think I would try with just new fans first.

Synthetickiller I think Im get the 1450's if your lowering the 1850's allready , well then the 1450's should put me in the sweet spot thanks guys for the suggestion
Also alacheesu I was going to try to keep my radiator but in needs monster cfm fans to work properly from my understanding cause of the tight fin design and also im running a separate 120 radiator to help with cooling
I know jabtech has those fans let me also check frozen cpu

It's not true that it NEEDS high rpm fans, it's just optimized for that range. It's perfectly possible to use low rpm fans on a GTX (or high RPM fans on the XSPC RX). Even though the XSPC RX would perform better with low RPM fans, it's not necessarily true that the GTX wouldn't provide sufficient cooling. Here's a chart from a review by Hesmelaugh that shows what I'm talking about :
With low RPM fans (400, 800) the GTX kinda sucks compared to the others, but at 1200 RPM and above the difference is small. You also see that you will lose performance when you move from the fans you have now to slower fans, no matter what rad you choose.
If you were buying a new radiator, or if you don't mind the cost and just want the best, I would definitely go for the XSPC instead, but in my opinion it's probably not worth the upgrade when you have decent rads already.

I leave my 1850s on full and can hear the pump over them. The 1450s will still be good for you.
The GTX's don't have to have high RPM fans, they just work better with them. If you have the money, I would switch out the the RX and either put those old rads up for sell, or keep for another build.

Pull is better with low RPMS and push is better with high. There is a middle ground where those GTs pretty fall in where it doesn't really matter.
See here: http://martin.skinneelabs.com/Radiat...ng-Review.html
I hope it all works out for you
