OCZ Hydro Pulse 800 Opinions??

Has anyone here had any experience of these?
http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/cata...oducts_id=1712

I'm asking because I've just started on my second w/c build, and unfortunately cannot use my existing pump/res combo in it!

I only have cpu, gpu, and 2x 240 rads in my loop, but want to be able to expand it, should the need arise, but don't have the budget for one of the Laing range.

All constructive input welcome!!

It's pretty much a CPX-Pro pump. Should be fine for your needs.

If it is the CPX-Pro (certainly looks like it), then Martin reviewed it. Great pump.

Respecting your experience, but if the likes of DD and OCZ are both putting their names to the same item, it can't be that bad, surely?? Can it??

Yes, in my post above. I'm fairly certain the OCZ 800 and the CPX-Pro are the same pump.

No, I've only heard good things about that pump and never seen a single reported failure.

I had the first version of the CPX pump about 6,7 years ago(the one with the blue anodized aluminum body) it's internal seal failed and the electricals channeled water into my chassis. I sure hope they've improved the design.

I don't think the two pumps are related in any way besides name.

I think your confusing the CPX with the CSP-750 made by C-Systems. I haven't been able to access their website for ~2yrs now so it kind of leads me to believe their OOB.
