Larger Thermochill radiators?

So, I absoutely love the Thermochill PA 140.3 radiator, but it's been hard to see if it could fit my A05N without permanet PCI slot modification and loosing my drive bays.

Are they coming out with a PA 140.2 or PA 140.1 radiator? I know there's a single-pass PA 160, but I can't find it anywhere (PPCs, frozencpu, sidewinders, petras, dangerden, mountainmods, newegg) except for mountainmods. It's out of stock at DangerDen. I know it's not the newest thing on the block, but it seems still quite a well sized radiator, especially for tight spaces. Aside from the obvious fan choice problems and fan performance problems over 120mm fans/radiator combo, I really like it's possibilities.

Is it not distributed anymore or is demand too low to stock or what?

The coolest thing about it, over say a PA 120.2 or other dual radiators, is I could throw it in my A05N with a 140mm PSU and still have space to stack some hard drives (see picture)! Using a PA 160 would allow me to use a PSU at least 160mm long (ATX mobo edge) or longer to approx. 253mm (depending on ram installed) if I took out the HDDs. It is also thinner than the all other dual radiators, which are all dual pass. If I mount the fan on top of the rad and draw air through the case bottom, through the radiator, and into the case, I wonder if I'd even need a shroud if I seal the fan well enough.

I have two & LOVE them. Once you account for the shroud depth, the thickness is similar to the double pass monsters. Also you could have a local sheet metal shop make custom shrouds so that you can mount a 140mm fan to the rad. I did & am pleased with the end results.

I am still waiting for a better selection of 140mm fans though.

I love Thermochill PA 140.3 and PA 160, but....the FANS!

What 140mm fans did you use? Yate Loon D14SM-14 or D14BM-14? What do you think about this debate over using 120mm fans on larger radiators

As you can see from that forum, I asked TC if there will be 140.2.
So its confirmed, I wonder, and probably that will be the truth - 140.2 will be similar in performance to 120.3.

Couldn't you just subtract 140mm length from the PA 140.3 to get the 140.2 dimensions? I assume the endtanks, etc would be the same and all that would be different is the extra 140mm worth of radiator. That'd make the PA 140.2 a theoretical 142 x 340 x 60mm. Not bad, figuring a PA 120.2 is 128 x 304 x 61mm and a PA 120.3 is 126 x 430 x 64mm. I'd much rather try to fit a PA 140.2 into my A05N than do the permanent PCI slot modding required for the PA 140.3.

same here... You could put two 140.2 instead of 140.3 and cutting PCI slots...
