My practise SS

Hi folks i wanne share my ss log. My idea and perhaps logic idea is to start small in this learning and understanding process. Don't expect anything spectaculair from this unit cause it's really basic, plain simple, i will be surprised if i can beat a AMD boxed cooler with this

Custom evap
Drier/filter castel 4303/2
120mm sized condensor
Very very old compressor around 1/6Hp
And a oversized fan
Capillair i have to digg for the information on that one .

Some pics :

Good luck with it all. Where abouts in the world are you? Also it'd be really nice if you had it so your photos showed within the topic

I've been using Intel ever since AMD put an end to my socket A fun. I was almost going to go back when I saw the cheap AM2 chips, but they suck Viva La Chipzilla!

From gary's guide

For R404A/R507:

Using a center point of 150 watts load I would guestimate 10 feet (3 M) of .028 inch (.7 mm) cap tube.

For each increase of 15 watts, I would shorten the cap tube by 1 foot (30 cm).

For each decrease of 15 watts, I would lengthen the cap tube by 1 foot (30 cm).

this means if ii'd like to tune my sytem for let us say 250W load, i would have to cutt of 1.8M of the 3M (150W) to end up with 1.2M capillair? Isn't that too much?

Good job. Replace the compressor and evap and you got a usable rig.
