Swiftech Mcr420-qp Quad 120mm Radiator Released

We are pleased to announce the release of the MCR420-QP quad 120mm radiator.

MSRP is $82.95
shipping: Now

Because of our move, we have not been able to publish performance curves yet. However flow curves will be very similar to the triple rad, and power dissipation can be expected to scale linearly compared to single, dual, and triple.

Performance gain of the Delta T water to Air should be (using the same fans):

75% better than single
50% better than dual
25% better than triple

for example

if your Delta T water to air with a single is 20C
with a dual it will be 10C
with a triple it will be 6.67c
with a quad it will be 5C

another simple example using different baseline: if you already have a triple, and your DT water-air is say 8C, then you should expect to drop DT to 8x0.75= 6C (of course using the same fans)

I hope this simple math helps.

Wicked! Getting ready to do a new build and was dissappointed I didn't see a Swifttech MCR420 yet! But this is just perfect timing! Thanks Gabe!

Sweet rad Gabe. Looks good. Now if only Skinnee could do some testing with it.

as mentionned above, it will scale linearly with with the other rads of the Quiet Power line of products, since it is exactly the same specs except larger. so just take skinee's results from our triple, and improve the DT water to air by 25%.

MSRP from Swiftech:
MCR120 $39.95
MCR220 $53.95
MCR320 $67.95
MCR420 $82.95

Are you disappointed it's not $81.95?

lol seriously that's a great price. ~$40 cheaper than the next cheapest 4x120? Seems like a winner to me

Yeah I've been looking at putting dual 4x120 in my next build I'm planning out and with this I can get the Rad + Fans for the cost of just one Rad from the other companies! Seems like a winner to me as well!

Not to mention that is MSRP and all the other rads sell for less than that. I would imagine after a few months you could get them for $60-$70.

Seems like a deal to me also.

Hmmm ...me thinks it is time to go to a bigger case, maybe Antec 1200 and stick two of these stacked in the front like I have two MCR320s now in the Antec 900

You might be able to do the MCR420 and a MCR220 in the bottom of a TJ07 with push/pull on both.

Depending on what fans you use there probably won't be room to do a push pull in a TJ07 on the 420 next to the PSU
