1014 bios for P4C800/Deluxe
After the 1013 fiasko, a new bios for P4C800 and P4C800 Deluxe has been released on the german ftp server. Untill now no word on P4C800-E but i guess it will be up sooner or later.
Try it and post your results.

No problems with flash, I used AsusUpdate from windows.
I didn't clear the CMOS after the flash as I have had problems with doing so, atleast with the 1013 bios.

Had to rename the bios to P4C800.ROM and baddabing baddaboom, flashed with no problemo.
Runnin same speed, settings, yadda yadda.

So does this BIOS make anything better ?? My boards been great, no problems, so dont se any reason to flash, well unless I could get some FSB

I flashed 1014 yesterday but see no major improvements at all...especially with 5-4 divider, etc. Expected more from Asus but didn't get much!

Im having HUGE probs with this POS board. I dont like it and you cant make me like it
9/10 it wont even post and I sit here for 20 mins pressing reset and DEL or INS and then get into bios and make one change - eg put fsb 5 less - and then reboot and then again no post and we have to go thru the 20 min charade again....fooking pissing me off.....I want my Abit dammit
Had the above problems with both 1009 and 1014. Its not the cpu either cos I am rock solid at 4ghz for over an hour and then I use Windows reboot and then the PC wont POSt???!!!! A simple reboot from Windows and then the pc wont even post...now come on..... 
I find the problem in the ranges of 245 to 255fsb and its mainly with the 5:4 divider. I put to 1:1 and we can POST and get into Windows straight away - well most times
Anyways, see how it goes today. When I get my 2nd P4C800-E back from RMA Im going to be selling both ASAP and grabbing a MAX3 :thumbsup:
