Somehow that chart feels wrong as for my feeling the diffrences feel really small.

But it's a good start and it can help people calculate running costs if they have tables like this so from me.

That chart is not remotely accurate.

I have multiple 8800GT cards and have measured the power draw of them (vs. integrated video) and the difference is about 105-110W.

Those values in the OPs table MIGHT be the difference between idle and load. MIGHT.

    there's also a list of tdp's from wiki. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compari...Force_8_series
it lists the 8800gt as 102w... so I guess at a 100% an oc'ed card would go above that...

I would take he power draw posted at the folding forums over 3d load taken during benchmarks, as the load might be diffrent between crunching and normal gaming. Remember allot more gpu's squeek when folding then when gaming, the chips is used diffrently and it might indicate a diffrent power draw. Just an observation.

Good input all...Even if the power is off, we can still use it for comparison purposes

    Great info !

Just want to add that if anyone is looking for a new PS
the Odin GT from Gigabyte has a usb hookup and
gives you various readings about the power consumption

    EDIT**
Thats 1 card folding, adding 4850 to it and bumping the cpu to 3250 and I am getting :
260w, not bad considering that running these 2 cards on 2 machines would eat ~400w

4870 and GTX260 are around 200W IIRC and the 4850 is around 150. What i found funny was the Ps3 pulling more juice while folding than while gaming, about 150W.
