for many of us, $400 is still too much to waste on a video card,
but the best thing is--all the gf4's will get dirt-cheap really soon

ffs I only got my 4600 2 weeks ago ;(.
Gonna sell it before the ati is out and go back to my trusty old kyro 2 for a couple of weeks. Least that way i'll get £300 for it instead of about £150....

I certainly hope fry and cry works for you my freind ...... i will have to buy one ... and either sell a G4 (which will plummet in price ) or relegate a g4 to another rig ............ I hope you guys are planning your money accordingly. NV30 is probably going to be 3-4 months behind r300 but its still "right around the corner."

The way I plan my vid card purchases are thru CompUSA $20 walkin warranties If a card happens to fry...I take it back and "cry" for another under the warranty. It makes for rather inexpensive replacements(benching abuse) or generational upgrades such as the Radeon 9700 and future NV30 cards, at merely $20 replacement/upgrade
