Thinnest 120mm Case Fan?
Anyone know if there are any 120mm case fans thinner than 20mm? I need one for my Shuttle PC. I've checked Newegg, MWave, CensusPC, FrozenCPU, Performance-PCs, Directron, etc. and I haven't found anything.

The only thing I've seen are a couple odd Revoltec and Silenx models that pop up in Google searches. Checking both their sites though, I can't find any info about them at all.

Yeah, I've already searched SilenX and Revoltec's sites and they don't have any 120mm fans thinner than 25mm.

I don't think they get any thinner. I suppose you could get 4 60mm fans that are 15mm thick and glue them together. Not very efficient though, and probably fairly noisy to get any decent airflow.

Maybe sanding a fan flatter can do the trick. Sand it untill you are at the rotary.

That will messup the whole fan. And I don't think it's possible to sand of enough without damaging the fan.
Maybe ask/email shuttle?

It's not something Shuttle would carry. I need this fan for a mod., not to replace something that came with the Shuttle.

I did a quick check around some fan suppliers....Nidec, Yate Loon, GlobalWin, Scythe among others.....thinnest I could find was a 20mm. Maybe someone else will have better luck. Sorry.
