problem with modbin6 2.01.01 and dfi infinity p965

I seem to be having issues modifying my bios with modbin6. After bricking my bios numerous times and getting a little fed up with hot flashing, I decided to look into the problem more.

I'm trying to change some settings to what I prefer, as well as unhide straps and tras settings.

No wonder it bricks. What's going on here? Any ideas? modbin6 2.01.01 not compatible with dfi p965? I wonder what version rebelshaven used



edit: hmm, it looks like when I try to rename tras1-8 from "Rsv " to "#" or "# ", it causes problems. Guess they're going to have to stay "Rsv "


edit2: hmm, it looked fine in cbrom, but bricked again. The only thing I changed in modbin this time was changing tras 1-8 to selectable. I even kept them named Rsv. hmm...

Is one publically available somewhere? modbin6 2.01.01 seems to be the newest I can find. next one is 2.00.00 beta


ah ha! found 2.01.02 on rebelshaven. going to give it a shot now. thanks for the tip

edit: well here we go. did all the changes and cbrom shows to not be corrupt. hope it doesn't brick again



edit: no dice. doing some reading at rebelshaven now. a lot of info i completely overlooked

You also overlooked the mod bios posted at rebelshaven that has all straps visable. But, they don't seem to work, other then the 250 strap.

I know quite well about that bios. I believe I have a few posts in that thread actually. I'm trying first to see if I can do the same as they have done. More specifically, I'm going after tras for the time being, and will work on others after I get the hang on things
