I have two cards and testing both, as you can see there is a difference in the two as one is much better than the other.
Now I just need to tune a bit more and pass Denny.

Nice numbers as always Charles
How much VCore are you using on the QX6700? and how the Vapo holds the heat?
My QX6700 do 10 seconds / Rend 4 Cores 2088 CB on Cinebench with P5K dlx on air cooling (tuniq)
Try to run Cinebench wth yours in Vapo please
I really love these P5K and the CPU Voltage Damper (really efective), also the performance per clock seems to be near the 975x with much more FSB to go

Use LOD's!!!
Just try 4.8 for Nature and you will jump 30fps at least

I will, just stating that they are not modded for these runs.
From looking at others around the net, the cores hit 700Mhz on average with stock heatsink and good air cooling to the case or bench.
I cannot match the 488FSB in with all four cores enabled, 480 and widows freezes but it seems I can bench all the way up to 479 on this board, I need to jump back onto the P5K3 again to see what it maxes at.

My Ultra's pretty much the same as the weaker of your two, 702 benches fine, but 720 is just a bit much until I voltmod the card.
I'm curious how you disable cores in the P5K Deluxe bios? There must be a secret setting I'm missing

Real nice FSB's Charles on the P5k
Did you mod those shaders or waiting for SLI?? Are you going to waterchill the cards?

I found out that firing up over 500FSB will lose two cores. I have no control but I known and expect it to happen on this board.
Vince, wanted to get my initial benches done.
Kiwi, yep this is my gaming rig. I need to fire up on the cascade for better placement on the ORB.

Fugger -
High FSB's arent impossible with Quad Core and 680i.
one little mod, and alittle time to tune that mod, and you can really change how that board works when using quad core.
heres some examples of the stuff I been doing with it.
8 x 450 easily 3dmark, and game stable, and been running like this for about 4-5 days now.
all the details, and more screen shots can be found in my post about it, in the Vmod area.
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=145524
give the mod a shot, its easy, and only takes a 1K VR, and about a hour or so, of tweaking to really get down.
it's not a quick, instant results mod, as you really do have to take the time to tune the voltage to near perfect voltage range, but as you can see, the results are definatly worth the effort.

Not bad. 4.0 on a vapo is pretty low for 05, though.
