Will a Vdimm mod fix the issue of rams not booting at 1.8v?

Im one of those unlucky few that has an issue with rams not booting at 1.8v...... I dont know why I never thought of it before but if I did a vdimm mod and set it so itll give me .4v then my mobo should default to 2.2v instead of 1.8v right?...... I havent done a vdimm mod in a long time but from what I remember, vdimm mod adds the volts across the vdimm range so if the options in the bios is 1.8v-2.45, itll become 2.2v-2.85v actual...... But what Im not sure on is what vdimm I would get after clearing the cmos, will it be 1.8v or 2.2v?.....

Now if this works, my last question is, is the vdimm mod on the p5B the same as on the Commando? I cant imagine too many Commando owners needing a vdimm mod lol......

Well, theoretically it should work, but I thought they addressed this issue in the latests BIOS updates.
