Rotary dual-evap : 2*GPU or CPU+GPU

Hi

It's simple dual evaporator unit, using one rotary compressor, and captubes as a expansion valves. No heat-exchangers . It has been made for some OC sesions (which are planned for future) .
I've used one "CPU" evaporator + one "GPU" evaporator, to make possible using it on SLI configurations or as a CPU+GPU cooler (just by swap enclosure on "CPU" evap) .

SPECS :

compressor: Daikin YZG-22RY1T1 (rotary)
evaps : piotres's custom CPU + custom made GPU evaps
expansion valves: 2* 0.8 mm captubes
condenser:2 row, alu-cu, cooled by 2* Sanyo 120mm fan + 2* NBM 120mm, all 4 for 12V
refrigerant: R410a & R507 blend
base: Chipboard baseplate 40 x 30 cm, painted matt black
others: High side gauge mounted on condensor's top

Braided suction lines, both around 100 cm long .

Suction sleeve with white stripe - I like it very much .

1st run ...sorry for not nice looking old insulation on suction accumulator .

No load final temperatures .

CPU evap 225W / GPU evap = 200W / Sum = 425 W

Around -33*C on both evaporators .

High side pressure with final charge during no load.

Regards
Peter

Cannot advertise, sorry Pio, but thats the new rules.
What length capillary lines? What displacement/hp compressor?

I'm not sure that it will work, because of the difference of the pressure of the GPU & CPU

Yes, that'll work, please check mine text about testing - it has been tested with 225W and 200W dummy, so not exual , and all have worked well .

Neat unit ! Did you not face any issues with evaps being different temps? I've read in a few threads that it can be quite hard to tune both evaps to a similar temps.
