New Build...How are my temps?

Hi,

Just put a new PC together over the weekend (using the kit in sig), I'm pretty happy with the results, it's alot quieter and cooler than previously although I wanted to check if my temps are ok. At idle the temps are 42/39 and at load (night of Orthos) they're 51/49. The Vcore is 1.55 and the MCP Vcore is 1.6. I'm using 2 yate loons on the rad btw.

Many Thanks

your idle seems a tad bit too high for that kind of load temp.

can you post your eq. Im guessing you might be lacking on the flow area.

Your load temps are fine tho. Your running a lot of voltage there, but idle is whats worrying me.

I'm using a D-Tek Fuzion, EK 680 nb block, Petra's DDC Ultra, PA120.2 with Yate Loons and 1/2" Black Tygon, EK Barbs and a DD fillpot. I'll admit i'm guessing the ambient temp by what's the average in Richmond today (according to a local website), not very scientific I know.

I seem to have hit a wall with it, anything above 3.4 and I to have to use loads of vcore to get it stable, I'm thinking of setting it at 3.5, 1.52v, 1.5 mcp...it's safe there and doesn't bring the load temp as high.

well lets see
my ambient is from 23-25C currently
1.525v on Badaxe2(DMM measures 1.5v idle/load)....idle temps are 39-42....load after 25 hr of blend prime95 hits a max on one small fft(160K) of 58/59...generally load on small, mid and large fft when blend is running is 54-56C
my delta at idle is 14-19C....load 29-33C

I live in Tampa, FL

Mind you I am running a PA160 which performs close to PA120.2 ...your load temps look awesome, idle looks ok to me(given 1.55v)

1.55v is IMHO acceptable but getting close to the edge of max

BTW unless there is a problem with his pump..the DDC w/petra top should be giving excellent flow

your ambients need to be checked in the room the cpu sits...not outside temp

I have a little "wobble clock" from Brooskstone that measure my room temp so I know my ambients easily

Thanks for that, very helpful indeed! . I guess I'm not a million miles off, perhaps i'll invest in a thermometer. As i'm using this PC primarily as a gaming rig I may back down the OC/vcore a little and live with a quiet 3.5.

Further on from yesterday...I bought a digital thermometer and today's ambient next to the computer is 22, it's a cold day compared to yesterday. The idle is 35/39, still seem high?
