Thumbs up My move into the G70, Build Log (56k warning)

here is the first set of images, hard drive modding, enjoy

__________________________________________________ ______________

set two:

is it alright to have the PSU fan against the holes in the g70???

__________________________________________________ _______

FINAL set Three:

Lian-Li drive bezel, looks sexy

My wonderful workspace, normally i work at my bench in the basement but I decided to use the kitchen this time

cleaned and reapplied TIM on board, mounted cpu block, installed memory

Radiator mounted between two fans, why?, because I could, Lol. One is an antec tricool (80cfm) and the other is one of my silenx's (~85cfm)
together the produce GREAT airflow.

my tubes from the last build, they are narsty :\

mobo installed everything is going good, my trusty phillips screwdriver seen here

blocks and pump installed, everything wired up and VERY neat

read to fill, i guess, more wiring finished

ready to fill again, standing up for the first time

bleeding in progress, about half done, major bubbles out

finished but dooing leak testing, passing so far

ITS DONE! ready to start up

a closer look and that wonderful blue electric tape!, i really loke the way it has turned out

so thats it guys!!, i am going to be making a new signature soon in honor of the new build, for now its stays the same.

For th future i will be placing my PA120.3 in the BOTTOM of the case (unlike most) and will be adding a 437w TEC setup most likely (come summer )

Did you really think I cared about my post count? The only reason I actually noticed it climbing was because out of the corner of my eye I can sorta see the 1000s digit Set it to whatever number you like
I actually delete posts if I use them to bump threads, or make errors...unlike the majority of people.

Looking good man.

Just one comment - i used to have my Raptors mounted that way and they used to vibrate really bad. Do you notice yours?

I have heard you can suspend them in the 5/1/4 drive bays with elasticated cord (like the stuff at the end of some coat sleeves). Its supposed to cut out all noise.

only noise coming from raptors are when they're seeking prey, i mean data...

some rubber gromets to thread those screws would be nice for any enthusiast case makers, like those found in some Lian Li's cases - Ex34 fan/drive cages.

notes:

-the raptors are kinda noisy but not too too bad, i will get something for them soon. I wear headphones every time i sit at the comp so it doesn't bother me.

- the coolant is mostly distilled water, but i did not have the additives for pure distilled so i made due. this is only a 2-3 month solution anyway so it shouldn't matter (getting 120.3)

-i dont want to waste my $ on another pa120.1

pa120.1 = 94$ ==> .783 $ per mm (120mm)
pa120.3 = 135$ ==> .375 $ per mm (360mm)

the coolant is 40% (fresh) MCT-5 : 60% distilled water.

why? because i forgot to buy the additives i needed for distilled and i didnt want to use ALL mct-5 like my last build.

to be clear I used NONE of the sickly green looking crap you see in the discolored tubing picture, thats the old mct.
