Neat program for designing pots....

Been using MS paint or the old fashion way ( pencil and paper ) when trying to design a Dice pot and it was a pain in the ass..... Then I ran across this software from emachineshop and it works pretty good..... I like how it gives you a 3d preview of your design and if you like it can give you a quote on how much theyre going to rip you off lol..... Only thing I couldnt do is the angle from the base to the side of the pot.....

http://emachineshop.com/

I was playing around with it today,

The feature about giving you a quote sounds like a good idea, but it depends on which shop you go to. The prices probably change all the time too.

You can use any CAD software to create designs of pots... it's just finding one that is easy to use . AutoCAD would probably be one of the best but it takes some learning!

I've used Google SketchUp before. It's ok but it doesn't seem very flexible in terms of drawing shapes etc. Maybe I just need more practice lol .
