Comment on my DICE pot design

Hi, Im trying to make a good design for a 2 piece copper pot that Im going to use only for dry Ice..... Ive looked at alot of pots recently but it seems most are design for LN2 rather than DICE.... What Id like to know is what makes a good DICE container besides having mass and surface area? ..... Here are some questions that comes to mind.....

1. Diff between LN2 vs Dice design?

2. Is the knob in the middle usefull for dice or is it used for controlling temps for ln2? whats a good size/shape...

3. I see most of the newer pots have evolve to have a narrow base with steep steps inside ( ala jasons ), How does this fare for DICE?

4. The hieght of my pot thats solid is only 50mm ( 2" ), what kind of adjustments should I be taking mass wise to compensate? Thicker/ thinner Base/walls, and is the knob in the middle be helping me or hurting me......

5. I tried to make my design as simple as possible hoping it will be cheaper to fabricate.... Is there anything you can see that will give me a problem?

6. Lastly, what a good "free" software I can use to to draft design?

This is what Ive got so far......

I'm not an expert or anything, but I think more steps would help...not too hard to make.

yes for DIce you can make more steps, and make them more after a "pattern" if I should say it like that, Do you know what I'm trying to say? :P

I drew my first idea for design, then used scetchup, and now I have drew it again in 1:1 scale. My pot will be made shortly
