A little help with Korean....small translation

Well, just got a new cat....well, my mom did. Got him from some Korean people she knows but they don't know English very well.

We have a small problem, we don't know his name. My mom was told what it is in Korean, but can't AT ALL get the pronounciation.

Sounds like "pachiko" or "pachinko" and translates into English as Great Tiger, or something like that.

Anyway, wondering if anyone knows the word I'm talking about as the Vet needs to try to track down his records.

Puchiko? Not exactly Korean, however. Japanese, I think. *shrug*

Yeah, I think that's it....asked my mom and she said he just responded to it.

What does it mean in English?

Thanks!

If im not mistaken, its Japanese for petite? May also be Korean too, or just Korean.

My girlfriend had a cat named the same, but some crazy old lady ran off with her because she looked like "a Garfield cat." Blasted crazy old cat ladies! ><

Its not Japanese for petite so much as it is for Petit Charat, at least I'm pretty sure.

Edit- Amusingly enough, a google shows that "Pachinko" is a type of pinball machine or arcade game (correct me if you know about this and I'm wrong) that's linked to underground Korean gambling. Awesome.
