My E6600 @ 4524mhz on chilled water...

I finally decided to throw my E6600 into some cold water to see what shes got.... Last time I used my chiller was back in the An50r + 754 days so to say the least its been awhile since I did some real benching.... Back then I was pretty much benching 3dmark01 and thats it... Today Ill try to learn the art of Superpi, Ive done more spi 1M with this cpu than all my other cpus ive had combine so Im pretty much a rookie.... Im pretty happy with the 1M result but my 32M looks pretty slow lol.....

Specs

E6600 1.65v
Asus Commando vdroop mod vmch =1.45v
Ballistix PC5400 ( got it this morning frm RMA ) 2.7v
PCP&C Turbocool 510
Swiftech mcw5000 waterblock
Chiller from what Im told is used to cool beer... thats all the info I really got from it...

Some pics

The chiller is right outside my window... Love seeing frost

With all the pros in this forum, Im kinda embarass to show -20C especially using a Radio Shack thermometer lol.....

And now the results... Ive looked everywhere to find the highest watercooled E6600 and I couldnt find any.... I dont wanna say it but....... is it?

I was expecting better timings than this after seeing some of the results here in XS... Wow Im so far behind I guess....

And last but not the least my 32M lol..... I really need to work on this...

Overall Im pretty happy but I think I can get some more out of this rig... all test was ran on 1333strap, Im gonna do some more benching tonight and see what I can do on 1066strap.....

Thank you for watching

Very impressive clocks for chilled water. That 6600 of yours is quite a gem.

But yeah, don't be benching on the 1333 strap if you can help it.

Nice one luihed but try running 4:5 divider if your ram can take it, it 'll help your scores by a huge amount.

Also, do you have Large system cache enabled in register?

Your chip in conjunction with your chiller sure ain't letting things down!

Zeus, thanks for the tip, Ill try that.....

Here's some more results I got, next time Ill give her some more voltage maybe I get over this wall.....

I need to work on the lower part of that memset....

Yeah, I don't think anyone's gotten near that. Frankly your speeds would be solid even if they were on direct die.

Is that run 1066 strap? You can start out by tightening tRFC, though Memset with i965 is a little weird. (For example, I'm afraid that tRCD 3 is not actually real )

you shouldn't just disable everything in XP for better SPI times

turn back the Luna Theme on and use silver colour theme....

use some SPI related tweaks like LargeSysCache + coppywazza + Core Affinity and you will have some killer times

how far can your RAM go as that will affect your times a lot too?

forget 4:5 as it will limit your OC.....i can't even go past 400.....at decent timings lol heheh

Thanks for the compliment guys...

Batch# L632B173...

I did the affinity ( my core1 oc higher hence thats what I used...) and copywazza I used but not sure if I did it right.... I was using 1g ( of porn lol ) folder and transfer from a different partition to my bench partition..... Ill try out largesystemcache and the silver theme..... thanks for the tip, there's so much to learn to this benchmark that last only 11s lol.....

As for rams, my ballistix can go higher but at 500fsb, I cant see where I can use it.... My board craps out at 490fsb on 1066 strap and using 8x multi, my board can only go ~550ish..... I took out the pins from the stock nb/sb heatpipe and replaced them with screws, I hope it helps.....

Thanks alot for all the tip, Ill give it another go and see if I can better my times.....

Tweak you 32m scores m8, they really look very slow
I have untweaked 32m result close to yous @3850 428x9 1:1 4-4-4-11 on 965 and 1333 bootstrap
http://img83.imageshack.us/img83/1187/32m3852dd4.jpg

My best 32m on water is in my signature, but it was done with only 1.5v, witch is my actual voltage for 4040mhz 24/7 water cooled processor, pure water with no chillers and normal ambients ~ 18-20*C
I'm having problems with my ram and P5bd now and have no nerves to bench it, cos 2 hours waiting to get alive after failed overclock is driving me crazy But my guess is 4300-4350mhz with 1.56-1.58 are doable
