Identify THIS RAD! sold to me as a Thermochill PA120.1
So I buy an alleged Thermochill PA120.1 rad from this guy online
it arrives and it doesnt look like it in anyway. I only paid $25 bucks but thats beyond the point, he told me it was a PA120.1
its not right? I dont see the bleed screw and I've never seen any of those protruding ridges from the bottom like that.
help me out guys... lets get to the bottom of this

Its a Hardware Labs product. One of the Black Ice series. The shape itself says that its no Thermochill. Thermochills also do not have a gloss finish.. they usually have a matte finish.

I believe thats a HW Labs Black Ice. What model I don't exactly know I can't seen the fin spacing or the exact depth of the rad. Do you have the exact dimensions (in mm)?
Edit: Looks like IanY got to the answer before me

It's a BIP. Those barbs won't fit into anything else.

im almost shure its a magicool xtreme single 120.
hard to find pics of the magicool rads from every side so im not fully shure.
they are a black ice knock off with 1 big diffrence.
the fan mounting plates (no idea what to call it) have a diffrent shape then the black ice rads do.
anyway the magicool xtreme costs 25.49 euro overhere the Thermochill 120.1 costs 69.99.
so some bastard tried to scam you.

At this point, you may just have to file a chargeback on your CC, open a claim saying he mislead you.
Sorry for your misfortune, buddy. I've been there before, and it's not a nice road to wander down.
Good luck

My pleasure.
If the guy was to sell a fake, at least it could have been a good fake rather than... that.
Mind you, with the price copper goes for nowadays, you might be able to make your money back by selling it as scrap
A spark friend is now having a nice holiday with his partner in Barbados thanks to the copper wire he's been collecting from decommissioned installations and scrap from industrial deployments.

Dude if it was a guy at H, start a thread at [H] Tips, Tricks, and Trolls section if he doesn't communicate back and refuses to pay.
