^Before got it made, but based it on Jason's rev. 2 pot.

Looks sweet bro, I can't wait to see it in action. Coincidently, I've got one of Jason's rev. 2 pots on the way right now.

^Yup, Jason actually posted a lot of info on his designs on the old OCX forum before it got deleted.

Yep; it's a solid container based on Jason's rev2 with some adjustments... for instance, about 5cm longer...

@Stapler: hehe nice! when will it be done?

Very, very nice looking pot! I have to ask, what was the extension for? Possible gains somehow, or just aesthetic value? Anyway, get some insulation on it quickly so we can see some results

@benny08: Don't know, but I think 5cm more should be nice. Will see!

@LittleDevil: Thanks buddy!

@Brettbeck: yea; I love the way it shines

The pot's actually in the mail to me right now. It's the one Jason's been using for benching recently, but he's getting a rev.3 so he sold it.

Thx guys!

@Gautam: wish I can compete with Vince thx to this pot I feel like the time has come to own some Pi WRs. May be I will never own one anyway...

@Duniek: Do you mean the mounting? It's a little bit ghetto but you know once insulation has been done, you can't see that anymore.

I like the pot, very nice . IMO you WON'T be able to compete for top WR's without a well designed container period...and yours is supersized and supercharged, so no excuses now XAVIER....pressure is on . Good luck and tear it up buddy

I think there is no difference between solid pots on short runs (suicide shot and spi 1m) because CPU has cold bug around -160C max, every single solid cu (ok I don't count 40mm wide baby's ) pot can handle that. With long run, if u have good pouring skilz you can control pot almost (+/-1C worser) like it has best internals on planet, of course if CPU doesn't have CB internals is (and specially size) important.

1m and cpuz screenshot is nothing really though .. your talking about 1-10seconds of load with core2. And to be honest if you took 10 different solid containers with diff dimenisons on base, sidewalls, and internals you would get diff results in 1m and sceenshot too. If cpu HAS a coldbug, pot internals are everything in terms of ln2 benching because too much swing and the chip can't be run at it's absolute limit. Get a fx55, 57 or fx60 that has a "real coldbug" that can't run below -70c and you will see what I mean.
Actually all cpu's have a cold bug technically where they stop working...and you want to be able to run the cpu as close to that point as possible, before it cuts out. I have tried so many diff solid designs the last two years with lots of diff chips and they all performed differently. The best container at removing heat is NOT the best container at controlling temperature and keeping it stable . There is a tradeoff that has to be made somewhere when it is considered for ln2 benching...especially if you are trying to pull as much performance out of as small of a container as possible but really goes for all container sizes.
"performance" means many things...How fast can unit go from ambient to benching temps? How well is it at removing heat? How stable can it keep temps in terms of swing? How often does it require pouring under load?

you have to exercise than holding a temperature with ln2 of +- 4 degres is really no problem

??? If u have CB somewhere (no matter where) every (normal size) single pot will make same ss results, it would be the same because you will put thermometer, then u will find cold bug, and in the next run u will pour until 1C below cold bug and make snap shot, so there is no time to make difference.
