Anyone Play Diablo 2?
I recently started playing again after finding out that runes drop a lot more, most of the bad players have left to go to WoW, and all those uber quests were added a while back. It'd be great if I could meet someone honest who I could have a good time playing with and enjoy the full spectrum of the game with. Trading seems almost nonexistent! Whats up with that?

D2 is just so addicting. I used to love the multiplayer aspect of d2. The funnest part used to be getting a bunch of friends and dueling each other. (before hex, iths, the new stuff)

n00b, lets met up and play some time. (Im on East, are you?)
Man I can't beleive how hard it is to trade. The problem isn't trading it self, its that there are almost no trade games! I got two people trying to help me get a bow... and I tried to trade a Gravel of Pain, but this is turning into a real pain. My zon is 70 now, and she only does like 400 damage! LOL
If your on east, pm me your account and we can play sometime.

Economy is very inflated. Only worthwhile to play on ladder reset.

LOL Well its hell right now trying to get my hands on a bow. It seems like everyone is really well off in the game (and usually an @sshole and/or some newbie who bought everything off eBay and knows nothing of the game ) or poor (and really nice). I occasionally meet someone well off and also happens to be nice... but their contact lists are always full, and I can understand why.

I am going to try to find my original disks... I'd love to get back into it. I haven't been addicted to any other game quite the same...
Anyone up for some hardcore???

No thanks... lol. I wouldn't risk loosing everything from one bad move. Takes the fun out of it for me.

I still have my lvl 70, hell-cleared Pal lying around as a save-file...
Had a paladin hardcore non-LoD once... Got him through Act 4, normal, and went into the Cow-level with 6 others... Just got to lvl 30 (where it gets fun ), and then the rest left... I ran through cow-level for a few more minutes, before standing still for ½ a second too long... *SWAT*, and that was the end of my hardcore days
Best Regards

Well, I decided to switch over to ladder. Better economy, more rune words, better players... etc. Someone said they're going to help me make an mf sorc, but he has yet to follow up on it...

I've played on an off for the last 4 years or so. I've had lvl 90+ necro's and amazon's (my two favorite classes). Last I played I was going through the story again in non-ladder and stopped at Mephisto with a lvl 29? summonmancer. Was still fun, but it gets old.

Been a very long time for me and D2.
Never played over battle net, played a little with my brother on our network several years ago, mostly single player for me.
Finished Act II with a missile amazon at level 72 on Hell difficulty non-LOD, which was not easy.
When I migrated from Win98 to WinME(yeah, it was that long ago) I accidentally wiped the drive with my D2 saves on it.
Was manually formating and hit "d" instead of "c" while typing in the command line.
Lost four characters which were around 40 along with my amazon.
Needless to say it got me a little depressed.
After that I got another missile amazon up to level 77 near the end of Act II on Hell difficulty, but it was LOD that time though.
I haven't touched D2 since 1.09 had matured.
I understand they have been up to 1.11b for a while now.

All you guys that played Diablo 2 and loved it back in the day, need to try out Titan Quest. It really brings back that feeling. The graphics are really nice and overall its very well done.

I stopped not too long after 1.10. My godly Zon got hacked right AFTER the 1.10 patch, which really pissed me off. This was several years ago, also. Haven't touched the game since, and don't really plan to.
