I’ve been looking at fans to replace some old ones in both my computer and my mother’s so I thought this would be a way to keep track of the best deals, and help you guys out at the same time. A warning though. All this stuff is at Electronic Goldmine, and the minimum shipping charge is $7. They add to that in tiny amounts as you add stuff to your shopping cart. So if you buy a list of things the shipping is great, but its not worth it for one thing.

Super Cooler! Peltier Heat Sink & Fan

Good price since peltiers start at $25, and copper plates start at $7, so about $20 savings. I don’t know anything about Peltiers, but I’d probably trash the heatsink and find out how to rig up my own.

the fans and heatsinks are nicely priced, but for computer cooling, that peltier is probably about 10-20 watts, not even close to be used on modern equipment but may be fun to play with
