Seems to me that 2xPA160's perform nearly as well as a single PA120.3.

Now, as I understand it, my MCR220 gets beat by a PA160 in all situations, low flow, high flow, low CFM, high CFM. However, probably by very little at all of an improvement making it a somewhat lateral movement.

Now, in my case, I have a LL PC7-B case (a PC60 with 120mm fans instead of 80mm) and it provides a VERY neat installation for a single PA160.

However, if I am to make this somewhat lateral movement worthwhile (as I can easily fit my double in the top), I would get a second PA160, which as Marci's tests show (quoted above) perform nearly as well as a PA120.3.

The question is, what do you think about that? I could put one PA160 in the top, one PA160 in the bottom, and loop them in series with my D5 (which should surely be powerful enough for 2 low restriction, single pass radiators), particularly when compared to the (relatively) high restriction of my MCR220.

What are your opinions on this? It leaves me 2 or 3 5.25 bays free, and I can always put the hard disk enclosure in the middle of the floor, leaving me space for 3 HDD's still.

I would appreciate opinions. I am on the verge of pushing the order button, but I wanted to check for views on here.

Thanks in advance

EDIT: For those who don't want to read too much:

1. Want a PA160
2. Almost a lateral movement from MCR220
3. Want 2 PA160's.
4. Is it a good idea to run them in series with single D5?
5. What are your opinions? Just get a PA120.2 and call it a day?
6. Do you have any other idea for mounting two PA160's in a single LL case this small

Yes, that would be the logical conclusion. I have the money, certainly and I've just been paid for Jan.

However, I also need some input on the mounting difficulties of the second rad.

Any ideas?
