QX6700 B3 (ES) question

QX6700 B3 (ES) is this chip performing better than the retail versions and what are folks getting with this particular stepping on SS?

Not that high as you will overload your single stage for 24/7.

I was just getting it for some benching and will probably use it on one of my older SS units for some 3.8 24x7 folding...

should I expect to bench at 4.4 on a single stage for 3Dmark06?

I highlt doubt it. I think the highest 3Dmark benching SS is FUGGER's, at 4.2Ghz or so

Send a message via MSN to FUGGER
24/7 4.2Ghz

Benched some 3D at 4.33Ghz

I am sure if you get a bigger compressor with a custom SS you might be able to squeeze up to 4.4Ghz.

For 3.8 24/7 folding you will need good water cooling.

DDTUNG: I only use SS...I have a couple of phase units and prefer them over water.

FUGGER: Do you prefer your QX6700 over the dual cores? I also have a couple very nice e6700 chips but picked up the QX6700 mainly to break into 20k mark on 3dmark06...right now I am only hitting 18220 on my e6700 and two PNY 8800gtx cards in Sli on a EVGA mobo.
