Please comment on new rig

Hi guys, its been a long time and Im getting the itch to upgrade my rig to one of these conroes..... Im not going overboard with this build, just a midrange gaming rig will do.... It has been awhile since ive looked at whats out there so Im a little behind with all the new technology.....

From what Ive researched in this forum, this are the components Im thinking of..... Please LMK if I could use something better for the price range....

Will be buying:

E6600 L6XXB
P5B-E
Gskill PC6400 HZ
X1950 pro ( maybe X1900XT )

Components from my old rig

Thermalright Ultra 120
PCPC 510w with 20 to 24pin adapter
2x Raptor 10K rpm in raid 0

Questions....

1. Can I change the multi ( downward ) on retail E6600?
2. What are the max voltages ( vcore Vdimm ) on the P5B?
3. Do I need to cool the NB better on this board? I see that the deluxe has heatpipes, should I get that instead even if I have no plans on running SLI?
4. Anybody has issues using 20 to 24pin adapter?

Im sure there's been alot of threads like this but I have done alot of research and still cant find some of these answers..... your comments are very appreciated..... thanks

PS Im so behind with the times that I feel like a n00b lol.....

answer to question one is: YES!

question 2: it is either 2.4 or 2.45v

question 3: it all depends on how high of overclock you are going to try for...if no overclock don't sweat it.

question 4: probably it will work as long as it can provide all the necessary watts to run the cpu, board and hardware.
