Albatron MX440 8X voltage mod

This baby come with Intersil 6529CB Dual Regulator for both core and mem. You can find it here, but I got know clue how to solder it... anyone here please help...

The voltage regulator is on the back of the card.

It looks like pin 3 is ground. I would wait for someone else to verify this before you try anything.

It looks like you need a Variable Resistor on pin 3 to 6 and another on pin 3 to 9. I'm not sure which set controlls what. If you start with 200K ohms and slowly turn down the resistance. You could figure it out. It probally won't change until you hit 100K or 50K, maybe even 25Kohms, 200K is just playing it safe.

Your voltages should read off the + leg on the capacitors, I'm not sure which ones though. Hopefully someone can add to this.

connect pin 3 to pin 6 with a vr of 5k ohm and pin 9 to pin 3 with the same vr

i saw somewhere a website with the email at the homepage (admin's email??) frzzman@....blah...blah...
