7800gt Benching, what drivers etc?
Hey
Tomorrow me and a friend will perform some 3dmark benches with a 7800gt. But wich drivers should we use? And what lod to run? We will be aiming at 3dmark06!

It probably wouldn't hurt to use the latest drivers from NVIDIA.

OKey, how about lod? It was about 1-1.5years since i last benched a nvidia card so is lod still being used?

Yea, it is. From my testing on my 7800, the best LOD is 15 expect for nature, which is 3. But thats only for '01. I havent done much testing with the other ones.

For 3dmark06 oyu could try lod 3,9. I think the sweetspot should be around there somewhere. Try and play a bit around with it.
