I like the looks, but won`t this thing decrease heat capacity of CPU contacting area ?
Compared to usual design

Yes, i think have decrease heat capacity of CPU contacting area. Size of base your container?
@TaPaKaH: Yes small but i will cut it if no good.
@ PallMall: wall is 6mm, all is Alu
@Pete size of base is 30mm.

the walls look reletivly thick.. Either way, it's a nice container. the spot for the temperatures is a great idea, and i'm sure you'll have tons of fun.
