Buildning a dry-ice pot

Me and some friends are thinking of trying to build a pot in alu.
How thick should the bottom plate be?
How deep should the "design" go if we use the round things as in the other thread here?

I borrowed this picture from this thread written and produced by Otternase, your pots are great dude! (http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ad.php?t=75480)

10mm base thickness. Height isn't so critical, it's mainly to contain the DI or LN2 so it can be short or long.

The last pot I made a while ago had a 8mm base, and was about 350mm high. I liked to make the pots short because they are essier to work with. a 10mm base is fine for an Al pot. It isn't difficult to make. It's just hard work getting the measurements right.
