Ceramique thermal paste

Everytime I remount or change CPUs it looks like my Ceramique thermal paste is caking... Do I really need thermal paste when using phase? I am using the standard 1/2 BB size drop like I would for air and water but since I am still a noob to phase I thought it about time that I asked the pros...

ASC has always been good to me, you can even use it to replace di-electric grease!

i use the same paste and imo is the best for phase

i use the same amount i would use to mount an air cooler
