Bsod :/

Okay so i just got the bsod just recently. Since I've had my overclock this is the first. I've been playing far cry for the past week and every once in a while it would freeze, but it was not the sort of freeze that required a restart. Instead all i had to do was ctrl alt delete and switch to program and the game would run again. I did take a picture, but i'm out of town on my aunts computer thats on 26k dial-up

Instead i'll type it all out:

the problem seems to be caused by the following file: wpfb_nv4_disp

THe device driver got stuck in an infinite loop. This usually indicates
problem with the device itself or with the device driver programming the
hardware incorrectly.

technical information:

*** STOP: 0x000000EA (0x897D7BA0, 0x891CB8A8, 0xBACEBCBC, 0x00000001)

I'm really not sure what the problem is, but i did download a beta 1.4 patch for far cry that i think might be the problem. I tried to find it and delete it, but couldn't find it so really i'm not sure or not if it really installed correctly or installed at all. It was a zip file that i had to extract the data from, but again i'm really not sure.

Hope this info i provided helps.

And for the record, this is the only program thats having problems, all my other games and programs run solid.

http://www.drivercleaner.net/

Follow the instructions in the help file. Whenever you uninstall old drivers for video cards and put new ones in you should clean them out with this to make sure no conflicts happen.
