high system temps?
I know smart guardian is not real accurate as i hear, but how do people keep such low system temps? In a 85f room my pwmic loads as high as 65c and my chipset 54c. Even my cpu i think gets a little too high, up to 44c load in dual prime. I saw a couple of forums and they say you should keep both the pwmic and chipset under 50c. Then again there were some other forums that pwmic can easily exceed 70c without issues, and chipset temps are fine if they're under <60c.
When i primed this stable overclock for 24hrs, the temps were the same that i just posted above.

well ill give you my opinion. you said those are your load temps, and im going to say thats yours seem fine considering that you have watercoolin, therefore your cpu fan wont be cooling your mobo as much as it would with air cooling. that pwmic load seems fine to me, thats load remember. if you feel uncomfterable with that then try to mount a fan in that areas b/c the top of the case by drive bays is a big time deadspot for hot air. your cpu temp is fine for load, mine seems to get about that temp for load with air cooling. and wtf is up with ur chipset. whats the idle temp. i have the evercool vc-re too and i rarely see my chipset above 40C and thats including my load time. maybe try remounting it?

I don't know whats up with my chipset, you really can't mess up the mount because it uses push pins. But i guess i could mess with it a little. Oh and 54c on the chipset is like the absolute maximum on a hot day in my room (around 85f give or take)

Hey thanks ripken for the idea!! My temps for my for my chipset are now 43-44c, and its 82f in my room right now. All i did was just re-pushed the pins in and and felt them go in a little deeper.

As far as the chipset goes, I know ripken already suggested a product... but I might add the Vanteq Iceberq (non-Pro) because I know for sure that will fit properly on your motherboard without interfering with your video card. I use one myself and have as yet to see temps ever rise over 36 degrees celcius. Newer alternatives that we don't yet see much here at XS include the "Jing Ting" heatpipe cooler, and ThermalTake also has a heatpipe NB cooler that looks like a decent contender.
For your PWM's; I've used about 5 DFI boards from that same line (or similar) and they all go about that high without any airflow specifically on them when loaded, and even when they're unloaded I find it takes them a good while to go down. You might try what I did then and just internally mount a 120mm fan pointed at them. For me it regularly took my PWM's from the mid- to high-60's on load down to mid- to high-30's... quite the difference.

My pwmic is sensitive to room temps..example, whenever its around 80f i get rediculous temps of 61c while playing games. When its below 80f my pwmic only hits 52c. I don't know why its like that, but i've noticed that its like that really for all my temps. Its like as if 80f is a threshold for high temps

OMG i cannot believe this, my temps went down even more. Turns out only 1 of the rad fans was on, i must of accidently unpluged it a few weeks ago. My cpu now idles at 31-33c in a 80f room compared to 34-36c like it used to in the same temp room, and my chipset is only at 36c now. Jeeze some many little things can make stupid problems,.
