X1600XT's, do they allow software volt mods?

As the title says, do X1600XT's allow their voltages to be modified in software (such as ATITool) like their X1800/X1900 brothers do?

I know for sure that X1600 Pro's dont but I'm not sure about XT's. Did you try looking at some reviews of some, or googling it?

Eh, cause I am considering having some fun with a pair of powercolor's bravo edition cards in crossfire.

W1zzard says they don't support software vmods btw, but the hard vmods can be done with a pencil and are the same mods that are for the X1300.

they do 600/900 on stock volts (some artifacts) and 600/800 24/7.

I tried upping the volts back when I got the first one (couple months ago) but was met with crashes when using ATi Tool so I gave up.

I'll poke around with it tomarrow, maybe x1k overclocker will help.

W1zzard (ya know, the author of ATITool), has said himself that voltage changes do not work on the X1600 series of cards, they can only be hard modded at this time. The reasoning for this is that the bios of the cards only tells the cards to switch from pre-specified 2d voltages to pre-specified 3d voltages, and these cannot be changed.
