nice
the top is the inlet and the side is the outlet
i'm quite surprised at the size of the outlet as a few people have said making the outlet wider would reduce the head pressure

Yeah, I suspect that it would lower the max head pressure quite a bit... especially when done in such a way as to compromise so much of the impeller housing.

It may be delrin but, from a design standpoint, I guess I was expecting a lot more

It's not better. If and when you take a look at Radiical's site it shows the head loss is very minimal.

There is another thread here where someone is in the process of testing the Radiical block and they reported the results to be very favorable.

I use the Radiical Turbo Head myself and the flow is quite good.
Before that I had the Alphacool head and it can not keep up with the Radiical head. So it's my recommendation.

The flow of the Alphacool head is not as good as the Radiical head. Have a closer look on both heads and you can find out why. The Radiical Turbo Head has very clean inlets which are quite larger than the inlets of the Alphacool head.

The Alphacool top need to have the top inlet modded if this is done flow is improved..outlet stays smaller ..which helps head pressure??

so you were referring to flow on the Radiical top vs Alphacool ..but I suspect the head pressure is better on the alphacool top

i'd do it just to look good, but the performance increase is just amazing... ~20ft head with a new top vs the standard 13ft ?

I agree...not sure if the Radiical top will give same head pressure as Alphacool..no real world tests out on it, that I am aware of...

I thought unmodded someone told me DDC ultra at 12v head press was 3.7m=12ft(specs are very misleading on web pages becasue they list overvolted or some crap)

DDC ultra@12v was 4.7m=15ft.... modded???

I am so confused as the specs are not clearly posted anywhere

Only clear results on the Alpha top was very andersson..he got amazing head press of 6m

Alphacool provides spec of 4.7m without any testing or data to back it up so don't count on it to be accurate, I believe correct data is about 6m (modded version) anderson got that results and nik got that results also recently I'm done some testing on it too and I'm getting that results too so I don't really sure where Alphacool got their 4.7m from

Laing itself maybe? They made the DDC+ just for them as far as I'm informed.

Maybe from this PQ-curve. Afaik this is from Laing, wouldn't think anyone would bother to fake it.
